MY COVID VOLUNTEER DIARY: It all started with Matt hancock’s tv call to all doctors

I generally don’t watch TV, but back in February 2020, I caught a bit of the news on someone’s telly. Matt Hancock was requesting all doctors including the retired to help out with Covid 19.

I had to step up.

Little did I know that I was in for a shock of slow suffocation. Not from Covid. It was the suffocation of bloated bureaucracy in the NHS and jaw-dropping incompetence from its management class.
